Mother Knows Best

I stumbled upon this graffiti-slathered wall in the middle of the woods today. It stands alone, seemingly connected to nothing. This concrete human construct raises so many questions—what was it part of? who abandoned it and why?— but mostly I’m charmed that it has been subsumed by nature as everything ultimately is. No wall is bigger than the loving change that is nature.

"All, everything I understand, I understand only because I love."
