Today marks the beginning of Taurus season and Taurus is the change we need to see in the world. Ruled by Venus, the goddess of loving resources, this sign’s calling card is practical magic—the miracle that naturally transpires when we move faithfully into the unknown no matter what we fear and what troubles we carry. Taurus understands that to bloom, we must first dig deep—into the earth, into ourselves, into all that is buried.
Taurus can be thought of as lazy, but she merely refuses to expend precious resources on undeserving outlets. Above all, Taurus refuses to be rushed. She has her own time—not unlike quarantime—and takes however long is necessary to do a job not just right but beautifully.
On this first day of Taurus’s time to shine, consider what tasks we are still asking ourselves to complete. Do they confer compassion, concrete care, and/or joy? If not, maybe they’re not as necessary as we thought.
This is my favorite time of the year, one of gentle, gorgeous growth that not even a pandemic can touch. Beauty—the miracle of anything and anybody in its natural, optimal state— is everywhere, and my intuition and tarot readings focus on how we may individually channel it, not unlike a sunflower flourishing in a sidewalk crack. So book a session for yourself or a loved one. No one is turned away due to lack of resources— and watch for the new tarot love spread I’ve devised to channel the Venetian energy of this month!
ASTRO PSA! ASTRO PSA! Full moon tonight. A super-powerful, super-pink, super-moon, no less. It may seem that even the heavens don’t have sway over the dreaded Covid-19. But astrology still offers guiding posts–grounding perspectives, much-needed clearings. Enter this full moon, which takes place in diplomatic, eminently social Libra. Ruled by Venus, this sign is all about navigating boundaries—literally! Now is the moment to refine our Covid Etiquette—social distancing behaviors that more gracefully honor the social contract. Ask yourself: How can I better honor the humanity of others while we’re wearing masks stripping us of human features? How can we more diplomatically ensure our six feet apart? How can we express our love, concern, grief, rage, and fear in a way that honors all of our big feelings?
Frankly, if you’ve been letting your inner misanthropist off the leash, you’re not alone. We are cooped up with our trauma during the season of Aries—the most zealous and impulsive sign of the zodiac. Given how little Aries tolerates restraints, it’s no wonder we’ve been extra salty. So even if you can’t go outside, let your inner wolf howl out the window! Punch that lunar pillow! Then put on your rosy glasses for this rosy moon, and set some intentions about how you may treat yourself and others with more grace. We are in the shit, yes, but we’re in it together. Let’s use it to fertilize something beautiful.

Friends, I know I’ve been quiet here but it’s because I’ve been cooking up a way to be of service. After weeks of soul searching and software re-searching, I am happy to announce I am now booking Zoom appointments for my Life in the Time of COVID-19 tarot readings. To divine how to serve yourself and others during this upheaval, this spread focuses on tools to activate your personal healing and expansion. My goal is to support everyone—myself included—during this time of great need and great change. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds, and you are welcome to donate more or book a comprehensive intuitive session if you are financially sourced. Call it an economy of love, because love will be our only true currency as we rise from the ashes of illness and hardship.
